Mission


The Instructional Design Division (IDD) provides instructional design expertise for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) of Officer, Warrant Officer, Noncommissioned Officer, and Army Civilian Professional Military Education (PME), to ensure academic rigor and relevance. IDD manages PME common core (general education) requirements, develops Captains’ PME curricula, and shares instructional design practices across the Army.




Methodology


IDD uses the five-step model of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) to create world-class learning products in support of the Army learning enterprise





MLC Team


The Midgrade Learning Continuum (MLC) Team develops and supervises the implementation of professional core curriculum for Captain Career Courses (CCC) to ensure courseware supports approved learning outcomes. PME Team


PME Team provides staff management and academic oversight of the Army's Professional Military Education (PME) systems to ensure PME curriculum and approved learning outcomes are properly aligned, progressively rigorous, and sequentially taught in all Army cohorts.
