Digital Education & Technology Committee
(DETC)

The Digital Education and Technology Committee (DETC) is a standing functional committee that serves as the Army's primary organization for synchronizing and innovating all Army Digital Education systems, policies, and the development of the Army Learning Ecosystem, including Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Integration.

  • Receives strategic guidance from the ALCC General Officer Steering Committee (GOSC) and operates under the direction of the ALCC Council of Colonels (CoC).
  • Develops the Army Digital Education and Technology strategy for supporting the Army Learning Environment.
  • Establishes standardized in-house development guidance and capabilities.
  • Conducts learning sciences research for Digital Education.
  • Creates a strategic vision to integrate learning technology across the Army Enterprise.



Key Perfomance Indicators

KPI #1: Percentage of outputs from the committee successfully moved through the ALCC Process.

KPI #2: Determine if the outputs have a direct and positive impact on building the Army Eco-System and supporting ALC 2030-2040.

KPI #3: Does the feedback received from the field regarding outputs support that they are “Value Added” solutions.
