Course Information: The 4F-948B WOBC is designed to train Active Army (AA), U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) and Army National Guard (ARNG) Warrant Officers the common and unique MOS subjects required to effectively perform as an Electronic Systems Maintenance Technician in accordance with tasks specified by the Critical Task List (CTL) produced by the Critical Tasks Site Selection Board (CTSSB) in October 2013 and mandated training.

Provide entry level Ordnance Warrant Officers with an adequate level of systems knowledge and skills to manage the electronic maintenance on Communication Security (COMSEC) Equipment; Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI); Ground Based Electronic Support Equipment; Ground Combat Communications Equipment at Brigade and Below; Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Detection Equipment; Special Electronic Devices; Warfighter Information Network- Tactical; Long-Haul & Multi-Channel Communication Systems; Army Automation Equipment; Avionic Specific Systems; Computer Network Troubleshooting; computer repair; and general maintenance management information to assume responsibility as a 948B Electronic Systems Maintenance Technician.

Scope: This course contains instruction on common Ordnance modules focused on skills to Employ Maintenance Capabilities to Sustain Combat Power; Administer Maintenance Logistics Automation Operations at Battalion and Below (GCSS-A). In addition, this course will have in depth technical training in TMDE management, Radiation, and Next Generation Automatic Test System (NGATS).
