Scope: The distributed learning (dL) phase provides the knowledge, skills and enhances the abilities of students to participate in the practical exercises, directed discussions and comprehend the information provided by the SME Guest Speakers / Panel Discussions during the resident phase. This is accomplished through lessons which teach or reinforce Strategic National tasks, Command and Staff Operational tasks that are required to support staff engineer operations. |

Purpose: The goal of the JEOC is to provide selected Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps engineer officers (O3-O4) and senior noncommissioned officers (E7-E9) serving in Joint Engineer assignments or on assignment orders with a basic understanding of the
