Course Information: To provide training and to transform volunteer civilians into disciplined, motivated, and physically fit apprentice-level Military Police Soldiers with Warrior Ethos, who have inculcated the seven Army values and are capable of immediately contributing to the operational Army upon graduation.

Scope: This course is a One-Station-Unit-Training Course (OSUT). The Basic Training phase provides a logical progression of transitioning civilians into Soldiers by the presentation of individual skills and tasks selected to develop a well disciplined, motivated Soldier proficient in common and military police entry-level tasks. This course develops self-discipline, motivation, physical readiness, and proficiency in basic combat survivability, combat techniques, individual and crew served weapons. The course focus for character and Army Leadership development is based on the Army Values. The Advanced Individual Training (AIT) phase consists of common military and MOS specific technical and tactical training to perform the Military Police disciplines (Police Operations, Detention Operations, Security and Mobility Support and Police Intelligence Operations IAW FM 3-39, dtd: 26 Aug 2013) across the spectrum of conflict necessary to be successful in the 31-career management field operating in the Operating Environment (OE) of the United States Army. The AIT phase will also consist of an introduction to the history, heritage, and traditions of the military police branch. All Instruction is required to incorporate Operating Environment (OE) variables and reinforce VALUES in this lesson to include scenarios and practical exercises IAW TC 7-102, Appendix A (Nov 2014). Incorporate lessons learned from personal experience or information obtained from the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL).
