Scope: The Telecommunications Operations Chief SLC uses the train-ahead approach to prepare the Telecommunications Operations Chiefs to serve at the platoon and company levels. This course is conducted in resident and consists of lessons in leadership, leader development, counseling, mentoring, Staff Operations, Network Planning, NETOPS, WIN-T, using the Army Learning Model.
This course achieves the Army Learning Model (ALM) process through improving the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of face-to
face learning experience through outcome-oriented instructional strategies that fosters thinking, initiative, and provide operational
relevant content.
The course intent is to vertically aligned the Four Army Learning Areas; Army Leadership and the Profession, Mission Command,
Human Dimension, and Professional Competence which serve as the framework to catalogue the 14 General Learning Outcomes:

Scope: The Telecommunications Operations Chief SLC is comprised of training in the areas of Leaders Core Competencies and MOS technical training. This curriculum will familiarizes NCOs with the equipment, applications, and protocols installed in enterprise networks, with a focus on switched networks, traffic flow, and security tasks, capable of providing purpose, directions, and leadership to multiple network system teams.
