Course Information: The purpose of the 14G Air Defense (AD) Battle Management System Operator Advanced Leader Course (ALC) is to educate NCOs on core MOS skills. This course focuses on leadership and technical skills required to prepare Sergeants selected for promotion to Staff Sergeant to effectively lead squad/platoon size Air Defense Artillery units.

Scope: The 14G Air Defense (AD) Battle Management System Operator Advanced Leader Course (ALC) will train and educate Non-commissioned Officers on the skill sets needed to sustain AMD operations, staff functions, and battlefield situational awareness. Responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of the Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) C2I equipment, Sentinel Radar, Air Defense Airspace Management (ADAM) System/Cell, and the Air and Missile Defense Planning and Control Systems (AMDPCS) in support of all Echelons. Common Core Leader Competences will compliment proponent technical training and produce leaders who are agile, adaptive and innovative and can visualize, analyze, and apply requirements of today's decisive action environment. The measurement of success for this program are graduates of this course that meet the program objectives. The junior 14G Non-commissioned Officers that graduate from this class will be models of the Army Profession, capable of performing their skill level tasks and capable of performing as trainers in their units.
