Army Credentialing and Continuing Education Services for Soldiers (ACCESS)

The Army University (ArmyU) Army Credentialing and Continuing Education Services for Soldiers (ACCESS) Directorate combines the Voluntary Education (VOLED) roles and functions with the Army Credentialing Program. ACCESS ArmyU generates organizational efficiencies at the enterprise level through better managed services to Soldiers. ACCESS ArmyU supports Section 4302, Title 10, U.S. Code, permitting enlisted members and officers of the Army to study and receive instruction to increase their military readiness with higher skills and competencies and to enable them to return to civilian life better equipped for industrial, commercial, and business occupations. ACCESS ArmyU promotes lifelong learning and sharpens the competitive edge of the Army now and for the Future Force. ACCESS ArmyU programs contribute to achieving the Army's goal of retaining quality Soldiers, enhancing their career professional progression, increasing the combat readiness of the Army, and eventually assisting Soldiers in their transition from the Army into successful civilian careers. These ACCESS ArmyU programs support the leader development imperatives of the Army Leader Development Strategy and supports Army Strategic Priorities.
